One-shot loading is a method of container loading that loads goods during a single operational cycle.

This loading process can be used with both palletised and non-palletised goods, which means it can be used across a vast array of industries and with complex cargo. 

The method requires goods to be pre-loaded onto a loading system.

This can be done in a variety of ways, such as conveyors, Automated Guided vehicles (AGVs) or Forklift Trucks (FLTs).

We supply Actiwe's One Shot Loading systems (from Finland) with options for 

• LoadMatic: A fully automated loading system for regular, non-modified trucks, trailers and containers. For use with both palletised and non-palletised industrial goods.
  
  
• Container Loading Systems: For steel pipes, steel fabrication, wood or aluminium coils. It is also widely used for loading and export of large pieces of machinery.
  
  
• LoadPlate: A semi-automatic system for the loading of complex or long cargo, such as steel or lumber. It is especially suitable for loading cargo, which is typically difficult to containerise, can be easily damaged or requires special shipping units such as open-top or flat rack containers.
  
  
• Trailerskate: An automated loading system is perfectly designed for the loading of medium to long shuttle hauls. It is best suited for a high-volume logistics shuttle with a more extensive fleet of trailers.

One-shot loading is in direct contrast to step-by-step or index loading and is vastly more efficient.

Efficiency

Once the load has been prepared on the loading system, the process of one-shot loading can take less than five minutes, depending on which system is being used.

Additionally, our one-shot loading systems are compatible with standard trailers and containers, meaning that no special container or trailer modifications are needed to access these huge increases in productivity. 

For Container Loading:

• A specially designed skate and track system is combined with advanced hydraulic technology for unmatched speed and ease in loading sea containers and box containers alike.
• The skates effortlessly glide along a steel track temporarily placed on the container floor and the platform.
• Utilising a hydraulic pump, the track elevates, lifting the skate and the load clear off the platform, making it simple to roll the cargo into or out of the container.

LoadPlate: our cargo onto the system using a forklift or crane, then it will be loaded into the container or truck in one shot. 

For Trucks using Trailersskate:

• 100% end-of-line automation and thus a de-manned operation
• Loading or unloading in under 2 minutes of any palletised load
